Vintro Pro · for starters

Starting your business in unique pieces, organised from day one

You are starting a business in second-hand, vintage or antiques, and you want to run it properly and with a clear overview from the first day. Vintro Pro gives you the way of working of an established business, without having to set anything up first.

When you start, there is no shoebox of receipts yet and no spreadsheet with two thousand rows. That is the best moment to do it right.

A dealer who has been trading for twenty years has to move their whole stock across before they can try anything new. You do not. Every piece you record properly from your first purchase is a piece you never have to search for, retype or reconstruct for your accountant.

Registration, your VAT number and the choice between a main and a side business are settled before your first sale. How that works is set out step by step in starting a second-hand business and in can I start as a side business? This page is about what comes after: the daily work with your pieces.

What it does for a starter

  1. A record per piece, from your first purchase

Photograph, purchase price, who you bought it from and when. That is what your register asks for and what a buyer wants to know — see what your register needs per piece. It takes half a minute per piece, and you only do it once.

  2. The margin scheme without doing the sums

Purchase price and sale price sit on the same record, so your margin per piece falls out by itself. You do not need to know the scheme by heart first — although how the margin scheme works explains it calmly.

  3. From purchase to sale in one system

A label with a QR code on every piece. At the sale you scan the code, the piece leaves your stock and the marketplace, and with the Odoo connection the draft invoice lands straight in your accounts, every piece on the right account. No second list, no retyping — in the shop and at a market alike (see trading at a fair).

  4. Visible straight away, even without a web shop

A new business needs buyers. Tick a piece and it appears on the marketplace, in Dutch, French and English. Building your own web shop can wait.

In the app: you add your first piece under Stock. Fill in what you know; the rest you add later. The label, the invoice and the marketplace all read from that one record.

Where it often goes wrong for starters

“I will start with a notebook”After a hundred pieces that notebook becomes a second job: retyping everything, finding the photographs, reconstructing purchase prices. Starting digital from the outset skips that job.

Not keeping the purchase priceWithout a purchase price per piece you do not know your margin — and under the margin scheme that is exactly what you need. Looking it up afterwards is what makes a first VAT return so heavy.

Everything lives in your headWhile you work alone, that holds. When your partner or a friend helps out in the shop on a Saturday, nobody knows what a piece cost or what it may sell for. A shared stock solves that, with an unlimited number of colleagues.

Rather not start on your own?

With the get-started package we set up your business in the app together: your settings, your labels, your first pieces. Already have a list? We bring it across in one go. And if you would rather not carry the paperwork alone, we prepare it — as the link to your accountant, or so that you can finish it yourself. The first conversation is free and without obligation.

What it costs

Free up to ten pieces in stock. No card number, and no trial that runs out. A small shop or a market stall can keep working in it for as long as they like.

Above that it is €19.99 per month excluding VAT, per business — with an unlimited number of pieces and an unlimited number of colleagues. The full pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

I only have a few pieces so far. Is it worth it yet?

Yes, precisely then. Up to ten pieces in stock you pay nothing, with no card number and no end date. You learn the app while things are still quiet, and you grow into it without ever having to move anything across.

Do I need to be registered before I can use Vintro Pro?

No, you can use the app while you prepare your start. For your first sale as a business you do need your registration and VAT details; how that works is in starting a second-hand business.

Can someone help me set it up?

Yes. With the get-started package we set up your business together, over two sessions with a follow-up after two weeks. You hear the rate in a free first conversation, before you decide anything.

Does it work with my accountant?

Yes. If your accountant works in Odoo, every sale arrives in your accounts as a draft invoice, on the right account. For another package you export what your accountant needs. Would you rather we prepared the paperwork, for your accountant or for yourself? That is possible as guidance.

What does Vintro Pro cost?

Free up to ten pieces in stock, with no card number and no end date. Above that it is 19.99 euro per month excluding VAT per business, with an unlimited number of pieces and colleagues.

Are you on the wrong page?

There is a page for every kind of business. They describe the same app, but from the work that you actually do.

Start with your first piece

You do not need a card number, and up to ten pieces it stays free.

Rather talk it through first? That is fine too — we answer ourselves.
