About Vintro Pro

Born from an antique dealer's daily practice

Vintro Pro isn't software that was born in a boardroom or dreamed up in theory — it grew out of the everyday reality of an antiques and vintage dealer. Those same challenges — stock, pricing, paperwork — are familiar to anyone working with unique, second-hand or sustainable pieces: from bicycles to clothing, from jewellery to art, and just as much to the craftsperson or artist who makes every piece themselves.

Jerome Leadlay, a British antique and vintage dealer, trades as Jerome Leadlay Antiques from within Crystal Palace Antiques, and lives with his wife Griet Coussement in Bruges.

The Channel London Bruges
Crystal Palace Antiques in London, Vintro Pro in Bruges. Two countries, one stock — and that is exactly where the need for this system began.

Every day he buys, registers and sells unique pieces: antiques, vintage furniture, decorative objects, art and collectibles. Like many dealers in one-of-a-kind goods, he kept running into the same challenges:

Brexit changed everything

Brexit brought extra administrative challenges. International trade became more complex — tracking purchases, sales, margins, documentation and paperwork became more important than ever.

What used to be manageable with spreadsheets and loose notes grew harder as the inventory grew. There was a clear need for a system that doesn't just manage stock, but brings structure to the entire flow of goods.

From problem to solution

Griet Coussement — a trained teacher working as a learning developer and accountant, also providing freelance administrative support to other businesses, and founder of Vintiques Export — saw the same challenge from a different angle. She noticed how difficult it becomes for entrepreneurs when important information ends up scattered across:

📊 Spreadsheets 📷 Photos 📧 Emails 🏷️ Labels 🧾 Purchase receipts 📝 Notes

Together, Jerome and Griet arrived at the same conclusion:

The problem isn't the inventory. The problem is the lack of structure around that inventory.

That idea is what led Griet to build Vintro Pro.

More than inventory management

Vintro Pro was built to give every item its own identity. From purchase to sale, the important data is kept in one central place:

✅ Photos ✅ Purchase price ✅ Sale price ✅ Location ✅ Provenance ✅ Margins ✅ Documentation ✅ Sales history

That doesn't just create better inventory records — it gives you a better view of the business itself.

Who is Vintro Pro for?

Vintro Pro was built for entrepreneurs who work with one-of-a-kind pieces — pieces you only have once, and that each need their own photo, price and description:

🏺 Antique dealers 👗 Vintage shops 🔁 Second-hand shops ♻️ Charity/thrift shops 🎪 Flea market & fair traders 🖼️ Art dealers & galleries 🎨 Artists with their own studio 🛠️ Craftspeople & makers 💍 Jewellery makers & silversmiths 💎 Vintage jewellers 🪚 Furniture restorers 🧿 Collectors 🚲 Second-hand bike dealers

In short: for anyone working with pieces that exist only once — whether you find them, restore them or make them yourself — and who wants better oversight of their inventory, paperwork and margins.

Our vision

We believe successful second-hand businesses don't need more admin. They need better processes.

When you know what you bought, where it is, what it cost, what margin it earns and how fast it sells — you make better decisions.

That's why Vintro Pro isn't just software. It's a way to bring structure to a business built on unique goods.

Sharing what we know

In that same spirit, we're also building a knowledge base for second-hand entrepreneurs, with practical insights on margin VAT, inventory management, stocktaking, administrative organisation and growing a second-hand business — because we believe better information leads to better business owners.

Less time lost on admin.

More insight into stock and margins.

More time left to run your business.
