Vintro Pro is stock and sales software for dealers who work with pieces that exist only once: antiques, vintage, second-hand, art and handmade work. Every piece gets its own photos, purchase and selling price, description, label and VAT treatment — from the moment you buy it at a fair to the invoice in your accounts.
This page answers the five questions we are asked most often: what Vintro Pro is, who it is for, which problems it solves, which countries are supported, and which accounting packages can be connected.
Vintro Pro is stock and sales software for the second-hand, vintage and antiques trade. It runs in the browser — there is nothing to install — and works just as well on a phone at a fair as on a computer in the shop. It has two parts that fit together:
The starting point is that every piece is unique. So there is no single article with a stock count of twelve, but twelve pieces, each with its own photo, price, label and provenance. Everything the software does follows from that one fact.
What Vintro Pro is not: it is neither an accounting package nor a till system for identical articles. It feeds your accounts, it does not replace them. How the app works day to day is set out in the manual; where it came from, on About us.
For businesses that work with pieces that exist only once — whether they find them, restore them or make them themselves. The common thread is not the trade but the way of working: every piece needs its own photo, price, description and label.
From a one-person business with a Saturday stall to a shop with several staff: the price is per company, so the number of colleagues working in it makes no difference. Anyone selling a hundred identical units of the same article is better served by an ordinary till or webshop system that thinks in stock counts.

A piece sits in a spreadsheet, the photos are on a phone, the purchase receipt is in a folder and the price is on a sticker. Nobody can see at a glance what is in the building. Vintro Pro brings photos, purchase price, selling price, provenance, location, documents and status together in one place, piece by piece.
Under a margin scheme, VAT is calculated on the difference between the purchase price and the selling price, not on the full selling price. Tracking that by hand, piece by piece, costs time and goes wrong. Vintro Pro works out the margin and the VAT per piece, keeps track of which pieces fall into which return period, and gives your accountant the overview they need.
A piece without a label is a piece whose purchase price you have lost. Vintro Pro prints labels with a QR code; you scan it at the point of sale, enter the selling price, and the piece lands in the invoice basket.
Retyping invoices into an accounting package is duplicate work and a source of errors. Vintro Pro creates the draft invoice automatically in Odoo, each piece on the right account — standard, margin or export. Without a connection, you export your invoices as CSV.
Pieces that have been in for a long time tie up working capital without anyone noticing. The dashboard shows how long a piece has been in stock, what has sold and what margin it returned — see also What is dormant stock?
Building and maintaining your own webshop is too much work for most businesses. Whatever you make public appears in your own shareable catalogue and on Vintro Shop, the shared marketplace. Interested buyers contact the dealer directly.
Vintro Pro is built for Belgium, the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom. Those four are offered as a choice in your business settings, and the knowledge base checks every rule against each of those four governments in turn: the Belgian FPS Finance, the Dutch Belastingdienst, BOFiP and Legifrance in France, and HMRC in the UK.
Two things are set per business and are therefore not tied to Belgium: the VAT rate on the margin — 21% in Belgium — and the currency, euro or pound. The app, the website and the knowledge base all exist in Dutch, French and English.
On the subscription itself: 21% Belgian VAT for Belgian companies, reverse charge for a company in another EU country with a valid VAT number, and no VAT outside the EU — the United Kingdom included. The detail is on the pricing page.
Odoo is built in as standard and included in the subscription. When you make a sale, the draft invoice is created in Odoo automatically, carrying the article number and posted to the account that belongs to the piece: standard, margin or export. You check it and confirm it.
Working with a different package? A connection is open to discussion. Exact Online, Yuki, WinBooks, Horus, Xero and QuickBooks all have an open interface for invoices, so the connection itself is rarely the problem. What we agree together is which accounts to post to: every country and every accountant works with its own chart of accounts, and a British chart looks nothing like a Belgian one. Tell us through the contact page which package you use and who does your books, and we will look into it with no obligation.
And without a connection? You export your invoices as CSV, usable in just about any accounting or invoicing program. So you do not need Odoo to work with Vintro Pro.
